These 6 things ensure you end up hiring people you don’t want.

Relying on resumes, grades, the prestige of the school someone graduated from, the prestige of the people someone knows (and got references from), and the prestige of the companies someone worked for (or the job “titles” someone had at those companies) are the best way to kill your hiring and make you miss true superstars.

These are the lowest quality, biased pieces of “information” one could get. And that’s the input companies “feed” into their hiring process. As they say in AI, “garbage in, garbage out”.
